The Fortnite Champion Series got off to a great start in week 1 with thousands of trios going at it and trying to qualify for the next round of play. Overall the level of skill was incredible, but there were a few standout teams including Crimz, Clix and Spades of the NA East region. Like in many other Fortnite tournaments, the competition was broken into regions. Since so many teams were competing, the action was a lot to keep up with, so don’t worry if you missed some. Fortnite Champion Series NA East Standings – Week 1

The first place team, Crimz, Clix, and Spades stood high above the competition with 124 overall points. Crimz had a great individual effort in clutch spots to keep his team’s momentum going and take home the tops spot in week 1 of the Champion series. Crimz and his team are definitely players to keep an eye on as the competition continues.
Fortnite Champion Series NA West Standings – Week 1

2nd – FRAPAI , MAKEN. TYVAN. : $12,000
3rd – 100T ARKHRAM1X , BLOOM FALCONER , TSM.VINNY1X : $4,800
4th – THAITANKS , THOMUSS_ , WAVYJACOB : $4,800
Edgey, Cented, and Rehx were able to secure 5 wins out of their 9 matches with 74 total eliminations. This performance put them 17 points ahead of the second place team. Their high elimination total is due to their incredibly aggressive style of play. They were not afraid to take mid game fights and did not shy away from high ground.
Fornite Champion Series Europe Standings – Week 1

2nd – FAZE MONGRAAL., MITRO, NRG BENJYFISHY : $57,000
3rd – E11 KLUSIA, ELOKRATZ, THOMASHD : $21,120

There was 1 point separating the top two teams going into the last game, however, Fwexy and his team were able to pull out the top spot and secure themselves $96,000. Mongraal, Mitro and BejnyFishy also put up a great fight since they were able to secure most of Retail Row to themselves. This spot on the map is a great place to land since the zombies give up so much
loot.
Fortnite Champion Series Oceania Standings – Week 1
1st – RNG_ X2JESSE , RNG_X2JORDAN , VOLX : $12,000
2nd – ESHZ YT , FORBUK , SYNC. : $8,400
3rd – GOOBOZ , LINK , WORTHY : $3,000
4th – GHEEZ , PARPY , SLAYA : $3,000
The first place team in this region won 5 of their 7 matches and had an overall placement average of 1.59. This was the best overall placement average in the entire competition and supports the trend of teams aiming mainly for placement and letting the eliminations come naturally. This is a strategy we haven’t yet seen in duos and solos, but it is proving to be successful for teams like this one. When Does Week 2 of the Fortnite Champion Series Start?
